All of our brass pieces are coated with a special non-toxic finish to prevent tarnish, scratches and maintain its golden lustre. Just using very mild soap to clean the brass pieces when necessary is enough.

Silver can tarnish over time so buffing with an anti tarnish cloth for silver will remove the tarnish and return the brilliant shine of the piece.
Always keep your silver jewelry in a plastic bag and/or tarnish reducing tissue paper to reduce exposure to humidity when not being worn.

Above all do not wear the brass or silver jewelry when swimming in any water be it salt or clorine water especially.

It is important to know the differences between Gold Filled jewelry and Gold Plated jewelry when making your choice. Gold filled is an amazing, quality alternative to solid gold. Gold plating is the lower level and these items tend to tarnish and can often times turn the skin green.
Gold Filled: Gold filled is an actual layer of gold pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. As a matter of fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry.

Argentium silver 935 is a modern sterling silver alloy, containing 93.5% silver, in which the traditional alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) is modified by removing some of the copper and adding the metalloid germanium. This renders argentium silver to be harder, more durable and resistant to tarnish compared to sterling silver and it is a finer and a whiter silver, whiter than white gold which has rhodium added to give it the white bright color so valued and trendy these days.

Using a strip of paper, wrap it around your wrist (not too tight!) to measure the wrist below the wrist bone where you will wear your bracelet. With a pen, mark where the paper starts to overlap. Measure the paper strip with a ruler. This is your wrist size.

Increase the wrist measurement based on how you want the bracelet to fit :
a snug fit : add 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch
a comfort fit : add 3/4 inch to 1 inch
a loose fit : add 1 1/4 inch
